In the mean time the Japanese car market has taken over the consumer market in America. Experts have be quoted to state that the “Japanese industry have used intelligence to over power the American motor industry”.  There two most recent releases of the TOYOTA RAV4 and the SURF have been carefully targeted at the American consumer market. If you look at the TOYOTA RAV4 and the SURF, they will both give you an American feel. Both the TOYOTA RAV4 and the SURF fall under the four wheel drive category which nearly all American cars are. Now you may be thinking why would the Japanese market create cars like the TOYOTA RAV4 and the SURF that resemble the cars that are no longer in demand. This is where the Japanese car market has done a lot of research in their research and development phase. The American consumer does not have a problem with the size of the car but more a problem with the costs involved. A typical American car is known to be in the region of $15,000 – $20,000 or more. Running such cars that can with minimum 4 litre engines are known to cost a person a minimum amount of $1000. The maintenance of such a car is known to be very expensive as well. Looking at these figures, which normal person would not be put off by such cars?

Keeping this in mind the Japanese car market have carefully designed the TOYOTA RAV4 and HILUX SURF to look like American cars but be nothing like them in terms of expense. They sill offer you that great performance but ensure that the amount one would have to spend in terms of initial investment, maintenance and fuel is really cheap. It is really easy to find a TOYOTA RAV4 and SURF in America nowadays due to the high demand. If you are planning to get a cheap TOYOTA RAV4 or cheap SURF then you do have one other alternative. Seeing that these are Japanese manufactured cars the last thing you have to worry about is the reliability and performance of the car. Keeping this in mind, you are always open to the option of buying these cars in second hand condition. Just make sure you look around first.
